COLOMBIA: Court defines scope of demobilisation benefits
After a 57-day wait, the constitutional court has published the full text of its ruling on the justice and peace law which spells out the benefits offered to members of armed groups who demobilise. The former paramilitary leaders have mustered a team of lawyers to prepared a detailed response to this ruling; so far none has reiterated the threat to take up arms again.
